Clear Workspace

The following security principles should be followed with reference to your workspace, even if you work from home, security of company information assets should be a priority.

• When you leave your workspace unattended, a clear desk approach should be followed
• ALWAYS secure confidential documents when you leave your workspace, even if it is just for a few minutes
• Ensure your workspace is clear of work related items at night
• If you have lockable drawers, ensure they are used for storing confidential information and locked before leaving your workspace
• Be aware of the people around you if you have confidential documents at your workspace. Make sure you cannot be overlooked
