The following security principles should be followed with reference to internet usage.

• You must not use the internet on your work device for any reason than conducting your duties
• Ensure you are using secure internet connection when out of the office environment
• Only browse internet pages which have be a padlock symbol in the browser window frame, that appears when you attempt to log in or register
• Legitimate web addresses should begin with ‘https://’. The ‘s’ stands for ‘secure’
• Always comply with copyright law and all applicable licences, which may apply to software, files, graphics, documents, messages, and other material you wish to download or copy
• Do not illegally copy material protected under copyright law or make material available to others for copying
